I kinda hate that the idea that scholarships are given out for internet popularity contests, there's so many ways to screw with the numbers.
I remember having a someone elses blog up for a scholarship, and he was getting tons of votes until someone on Daily KOS made a post saying OMG the Guy that's winning writes a sports blog and he's losing to a progressive political blog so vote for that person, and they got like 500k votes in 2 days. Lame.
