^^ DRYS channel has served me well since june, after buying at the false breakout (9.7), i've managed to build my position from 10 contracts to 150 contracts, $ costing down my average to 6.45. How nice would it be to see this thing hit 10 by EOY. I've got 7.3 a sell target on this upswing, will probably dump a fair bit, been in this trade awhile and my option contract runs out in december!
Some people say channels = retirement... I'm not sure i'd go that far, however, a good channel can pay for the yearly expenses for sure.

I bought C for my real day trading account when it was around $2.25. I have a 90% return on it right now. I bought it back then because I knew the government would rescue them no matter what they did, so eventually when they got their shit together, their stock would go back up. I would say to keep in mind NOTHING has changed in regards to banking reform so they are just operating as normal, which means big gains. Might as well take advantage of them being evil bastards.

Citi was one of my big gainers, I bought C-U at just over $8 a year ago and sold it for just over $18 when I needed money to bring to closing on our house. The taxes on it sucked but it paid dividends which was reinvested quarterly while I held it and even after the taxes profit is profit.

oopps, forgot i added these two. oh well, should bounce again.
My targets for C were 5.03 and then 5.19. I got stop'd at the 5D after it reached my target. For MGM, it was 16.26. Both still look like they're going to channel between the numbers, so not so bad. I just like short moves.

I just noticed I still have all these portfolios in my Google Finance page, so just for shits and giggles I checked the latest totals. Bear in mind I stopped making any updates at some point (probably back in Nov of 2009), so any "trades" since then aren't in there. This assumes we left everything untouched for almost 3 years.
Best stock is the best returning stock that is still in the portfolio (I think Maul's AIG total isn't reflecting the reverse split...) Guess we really should have stuck all our money in the market and left it there. Well, except for Thudz...

pffft, I won. We all just stopped in late 2009 or 2010 some time. I dont even know what stock I owned. I know I would own Drys....
