They certainly aren't the majority because it isn't the game we grow up watching, but its not inherently more boring than live american football - which with the pauses many people find dreadful. If you go to a NFL game live and see the dozens of TV enforced breaks, many people find live games horribly boring.

I've been to plenty of pro and college games, and probably hundreds of high school and youth games. When you put the difference between soccer and football in this context Jake, suddenly it's not the Americans who seem to have ADD. Seriously, if you need to see a ball in constant motion for a game to be entertaining, even if it's just being kicked back and forth between a couple of players jogging around the pitch then, yeah, having to wait 25 seconds between plays must be excruciating.

I get the point though, to each his/her own.
