Yeah there's a lot of discussion going around about splitting up the medical curriculum because of how much it has grown in the last quarter century. The sheer volume and detail in the field now dwarfs what physicians had to learn 25 years ago. Many doctors make the argument that a lot of time is wasted teaching students information outside of their eventual specialties.
