And what the fuck were they doing there, anyway? Baltar invented resurrection? They're immortal?
And Kara just goes "poof"? WTF?
And yeah... Lee Adama wants to spend his days doing as little as possible? Do you know how much work you'd have to do if you got rid of technology? A lot! Just making the damn soap would take hours! This is that old over-glorification of the simple life, isn't it? The one before the evil corporations and cities took over our lives? Well good luck with that.
ANYway... so yeah.
That was God's plan, Six and Baltar are immortal and Kara can vanish into thin air and humanity, on a whim of Lee Adama, decides they'd rather just learn to hunt gazelle with sharp sticks, The End.

(Also, if you're going to execute someone, at least shoot them in the head. Shooting them 15 times in the stomach is just rude.)
I also started fast forwarding through the flashbacks. After the first one or two I was like, "...did that advance the story in any way? WTF was the point of that?" So I started skipping them. Occasionally I'd stop and see if they were saying anything I'd care about but they never were. They were basically just doing character development in the final episode. What's the point of that?!
Basically, BSG overall is a good show but these writers need to come down out of the clouds and remember how to tell a story that maybe has some kind of plan to it and isn't simply inventing stuff as it goes along.
