Wood looked ok in pre season but yeah I agree. But with Foster possibly being out for a while and Tate being pretty poor(granted against the Cheifs), us cutting our 3rd string guy had to be for good reason. I mean, who is going to be our backup running back now? Our fullback? Do we have some guy on the practice squad that has been lighting it up? I doubt it. Maybe Vince Young can be a running back?

FWIW, they went from the shotgun a majority of the time and that doesn't exactly promote a good running game.
