Two years ago when the refs called a incomplete pass on the endzone which was a TD catch. Michigan fans know they should have lost that game. Beating the Hokies in a bowl game isn't that special as we tend to choke and play horrible. That's one of the critic's points about Beamer not taking the Hokies to the next step.

No competition? You had a long 10 win season record which was snapped just like the Hokies. In that time you played various teams that had good programs (TT for a few, Neb for a few, TAM for a few, Kansas for a few, K state for a year I think) who could all compete. Only this year has that pretty much gone away (Baylor is a paper tiger). However, your last sentence is exactly the same argument various Hokie "fans" say about getting rid of Beamer. Fans are never happy about success 8/10 times, they always want the perfection. Nothing wrong with that as a fan however those expectations are just not realistic for football programs whether its because of players, coaches, schedule, or whatever. You want to fire a long time head coach who's done what Mack has done. Go ahead... SECPN loves blood in the water and there is nothing like coaching controversy to boost ratings. I think he needs to look at his coordinator hiring process but that's always tricky.
