I am on the fence about whether or not to see Man of Steel.
On one hand, Superman is a close second for my least favorite super hero (after Spiderman, if anyone is interested).
On the other hand, it's fairly common knowledge that Warner Brothers is keeping a close watch on how well this movie does to gauge whether or not a Justice League movie would be viable which might mean a Flash movie or (dare I hope?) even a Wonder Woman movie. For the record, I've got my fingers firmly crossed for a JLA cartoon-version of the Flash for his movie, and hopefully not one based on him from his stand alone comics.
