The last big tv I bought was a 46" panasonic viera plasma. I picked it up on a black friday deal 5 or 6 years ago for an absolute song of a deal. I absolutely love it. I bought another smaller Panasonic for the bedroom (32") 2 years later, and it's been perfect as well. At this point, I don't see myself buying anything but panasonic tv's, and like Breand, if I were to buy one today, it would be LED. But at the rate these two are going, I don't foresee having to buy another one for a few more years at least.
