I do like her, and Sansa also (another character I started out hating then grew to love). I just like Daenerys better, partially because she willingly takes responsibility for a very large group of people at a very young age, and partially because I love dragons.
Of course, I'm only 3/4ths though the second book at this point, so Brienne hasn't done a whole lot just yet.
